Canning

So I am officially in the 2ww. I think there is something wrong with my thermometer (again). My temperatures are just really strange. Especially after getting 3 positive OPKS (the middle one being darker than the control line), and my CM matching the OPKs. So now I am not sure what it is doing but what's done is done! Hopefully my chart will become a bit clearer in the coming days.

On another note, my dad and I did some canning yesterday and made Beet Relish!

Celiac Disease

I was just diagnosed with Celiac Disease (there is info about it in the page at the top). It is said to cause miscarriages. I am really hoping that this time around that won't happen to me after being on a gluten-free diet.  Yesterday was my first day of gluten free, and I was doing really well until I accidently ate a Timbit without even thinking about it. Shoot. So trying again today. Bought a really good GF cereal called Gorilla Munch:

So yeah, it is a lot to look out for! Plus my office ordered pizza yesterday and that was really hard! I had to eat my rice. But I think I will get used to it. It will be SO worth it if it gets me a take-home baby.

As for TTC, I am on CD11, and my temp finally changed today to 97.1. At least I know the thermometer is working! So we are coming up to FWP week and I am hoping that goes well too. We move on Friday so I am not sure how it will work out.  My good friend Nykesha sent me all of her old OPKs, which I am really excited about! I will try those out this weekend.

My first post!

Hello blog world! As of now, I have zero followers so this is more of a journal! haha. I added a section "About Me" if you want to check that out! I am really hoping to get pregnant and have a 2012 take home baby.  TTC after a loss is tough business, and pretty scary at times.  Here's to hoping (praying) that I do get KU quickly and this time the outcome is much better. I am currently on CD7 and am using a BBT temperature to chart (it is linked on the right-hand side of this blog).  I am using OPKs as well, and I hope it will help us get our baby.

DH and I got a puppy a few months ago and I am totally in love! He is the cutest little husky and is getting super big very fast! I have loved having a running partner and someone to snuggle all night. He enjoys watching me do my all-time favourite hobby: reading!

He is going to be a big dog I think! We named him Ralph Lauren because that is DH's favourite designer. Haha. He is the cutest!
