Free / Bargain Sites

There are some bargain baby sites that post deals everyday and I have been watching them for things that I need. Here are the ones I have been watching:

Mama Bargains
Baby Steals
Baby Half Off
Kids Woot
Zulily

Some have 2 deals a day, some have one.  Sometimes they are on useless things like baby shoes but its worth it to watch for the things like cloth diapers and strollers.

There are some free things I have done as well. Most are sampler types of things but still good!

Nestle Baby Program
Free Baby Samples Canada

Kijiji

Love Kijiji! About to go get a brand new organic infant cloth diapering kit for $160! Woohoo. Saving money. Especially since the woman selling it received it as a gift and did not use any of it. Super excited!

I will keep perusing kijiji for more items, hopefully I can get a lot of stuff this way!!

So far, here is the best blog/info I have found on cloth diapering:

Everyone keeps saying I will change my mind about cloth diapering but I don't think so. Tommy is on board, my mom cloth diapered and lots of people do it.  It really isn't within my realm of values to even consider disposable diapers. All the time spent doing laundry would be spent going out to buy more disposables anyway.

11 Weeks

Wow! I can't believe I am already 11 weeks. I kind of thought I would never get here. I ordered my doppler and I can't wait for it to arrive (probably sometime in a few weeks).  That will make me feel better I think.
Baby is the size of......
A lime! 2 more weeks and then we hit second trimester. I have been waiting for this moment for a long time.  I haven't written much in the blog because I have been so nervous and I haven't taken many pictures (unlike last time) but I think I am finally getting over my anxiety a little bit.

We had an ultrasound at 9w3d and saw a heartbeat which was awesome! That definitely helped my fears out a bit.

Not a very good picture but Tommy just snapped it with his iPhone.  Still feeling pretty sick but I will try to start doing the weekly quizzes.

BFP!!!

So today I tested with FMU and got the faintest line but it is definitely there! So excited but feeling very cautious!!! I HOPE this is it for us. I really do!! Now what to do with myself......
At least I will be busy. I start my new job on Monday, we paint our house tomorrow, and move in on Friday. Now that spare room will be the nursery I had hoped for! I am so excited but can't tell anyone so it is a bit torturous. I will be trying to wait until 12 weeks for sure. Not sure about family (maybe sooner) but anyway that is far away.  I just hope hope hope I get a darker positive. Maybe I will go buy a digital to put my mind at rest.

My due date: June 10, 2012. (3 days after my birthday!)

Canning

So I am officially in the 2ww. I think there is something wrong with my thermometer (again). My temperatures are just really strange. Especially after getting 3 positive OPKS (the middle one being darker than the control line), and my CM matching the OPKs. So now I am not sure what it is doing but what's done is done! Hopefully my chart will become a bit clearer in the coming days.

On another note, my dad and I did some canning yesterday and made Beet Relish!

So yeah, it is a lot to look out for! Plus my office ordered pizza yesterday and that was really hard! I had to eat my rice. But I think I will get used to it. It will be SO worth it if it gets me a take-home baby.

As for TTC, I am on CD11, and my temp finally changed today to 97.1. At least I know the thermometer is working! So we are coming up to FWP week and I am hoping that goes well too. We move on Friday so I am not sure how it will work out.  My good friend Nykesha sent me all of her old OPKs, which I am really excited about! I will try those out this weekend.

Happy Wednesday Everyone!
